CEO series: David Mizrahi on Anguilla’s Port Nimara and Panama’s newly-announced Port Amador

David

SF Group chose Anguilla for Port Nimara because of its secluded, low-density luxury environment and ideal location between Cap Juluca and Altamer. The marina’s USP is its 118 berths for yachts up to 73m, private berth ownership, and its role in creating a cruising triangle between Anguilla, St. Martin and St. Barths. Port Nimara is designed as a lifestyle destination rather than simply a place to dock, with a yacht club, hotel, residences, dining, wellness and activities.

The project is progressing well, with berth sales exceeding initial expectations and construction moving forward toward a 2027 marina opening. SF Group is also developing Port Amador in Panama, a larger 350+ berth marina for yachts up to 120m, positioned as a strategic Pacific-side hub for yachts transiting the Panama Canal. Unlike Port Nimara, Port Amador will operate under a government concession, with berths offered through long-term leases, and is targeting completion in 2028.
