Port Amador Intends to be a Pacific Superyacht Hub

Port Amador

Port Amador, developed by the same team behind Anguilla’s Port Nimara, aims to become a major superyacht hub on the Pacific side of Panama. Its strategic location near the Panama Canal allows yachts to easily access both the Caribbean and Pacific, while Panama City provides strong international air connections, luxury amenities, and proximity to private aviation.

The first phase will offer around 115 berths for yachts up to 122m, with the full development eventually exceeding 350 berths. Like Port Nimara, Port Amador is designed as more than a marina, incorporating real estate and lifestyle amenities, including the first Pacific location of the Beaufort Yacht Club, with dining, wellness, private club spaces, and a rooftop pool.

The project is expected to begin welcoming yachts in 2028, positioning Panama as a compelling alternative to established cruising hubs such as Costa Rica and the Caribbean.
